This is the second in the Train-the-Trainer series. T3 – The Basics is the first step.  All continuing District & Council trainers, Pack & Unit trainers (youth and adult), Roundtable Commissioners/staff who have never had this course or has taken it more than three years ago should take this course. EDGE is required for all NYLT and Wood Badge staff members.

Check-in 7:45 am and Training 8:00 – 4:30 pm


You must bring with you a 15 minute training presentation (any Scouting subject) and be prepared to adjust on site as needed based on learning at course.  Please advise the course director by April 25, 2014 of the method of presentation (lecture/flipchart/flannel board/display board/table top display/powerpoint etc).  Methods will be approved on a first asked basis. Some restrictions may be placed on the number of certain type of presentations.


We will have a 30 minute lunch break – please bring your own.

Please indicate on registration if you are NYLT/Wood Badge staff member.

Cancellation Policy: Training Cancellation/Refund Policy: Effective as of 11/1/2013 For all training courses that are registered for but not attended the following policy applies: Refunds and transfers for training courses will NOT be allowed for any course with a fee under $25.00. Per person cost fee of $25.00 or more may be reviewed for a refund or transfer to another course within the same calendar year of the training schedule. Transferring fees to future year's courses will NOT be considered. All requests must be made in writing by the person making the payment within 7 days of the completion of the course. The request should be directed to the Council Training Chair. No requests will be honored to carry over from one calendar year to the next.
