Wilderness First Aid

LOCATION: Cushman-Watt Service Center, 2333 Scout Way Los Angeles, CA 90026
INSTRUCTORS: Rick Reeley and Dave Rolandelli
PRE-REQUISITE: For Wilderness and Remote First Aid Certification - participants need to have current certification in Adult CPR & AED, , which will be taught at the beginning of the WFRA class. First Aid Basics – have knowledge of Tenderfoot, 2nd Class & First Class First Aid skills, and should complete the online trainings in Weather Hazards, Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat. This training is geared towards Adult Scout Leaders and those Scout parents going to a Scout High Adventure Base activity or Scout wilderness activity.
COST: $60.00 for Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED. Pay at the door Cash or if paying by check make it out to Rick Reeley. Cost includes a CD with all printed material on it. CPR/AED class includes materials on CD, AED demonstration, use of AED trainer, and use of CPR manikins. Certification is for two years.
MEALS: All meals are on your own. Time will be allotted to go out or you can bring your own snacks, lunch and refreshments.
